We used to fish these out of the Passaic River when i was younger. The big ones were called "Thunder Eels while the little ones were called "pencil eels" Very slimy especially when you tried to remove the hook and the thing wrapped around your arm...

By the way, i often see fisherman heading out in Dekorte (mostly underneath the power lines) Is fishing allowed at DEkorte? What are they catching?
